Ali Spike, MS, CCLS
Certified Child Life Specialist I, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Outpatient Clinic and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Ali Spike has been a certified child life specialist at the Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital since January 2016. Ali completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida with a BA in history, and her masters degree in child life at Bank Street College. She completed her child life internship at Mount Sinai with rotations in the PICU, the pediatric ED and the hematology/oncology outpatient clinic.
She has worked in almost all areas of the hospital including outpatient clinics, the PICU/PCICU, P4, P5, the Zone and Kid Zone TV. Ali helps to develop and supervise daily programming and special events for the outpatient hematology/oncology clinic. She works closely with the Kid Zone TV team to develop therapeutic programming for patients and families during their hospitalization. Ali also provides child life coverage on the weekends to all inpatient units.
